Get your hands in the dirt and your heart in the work! Join the Greater Hartford Green Team as we refresh and restore one of Hartford’s hidden gems, Columbus Park. We’ll be tending to overgrown flower beds, weeding, and picking up litter to help make Columbus Park a cleaner and more welcoming space for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or just looking for a way to give back, this is a great chance to make a visible difference in just a few hours.
What to Know:
- Rain or Shine. Extreme weather will cancel and anyone registered here will be notified.
- Wear comfortable layers and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. We’ll be working outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
- Water and light snacks will be provided.
- Open to all, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.
