The Greater Hartford Green Team is back at it again as we show some love to Hartford's Green Spaces. KNOX will be partnering with a local residents that have been working to steward this green space that honors Marcus Garvey. The space is a community park and memorial located in Hartford's Blue Hills neighborhood, situated at the intersection of Cornwall, Granby, and Burlington Streets. It was established as a tribute to the influential leader. Volunteer will help by doing general clean up, spreading mulch/woodchips. weeding planting areas, and possibly planting new flowers and greenery. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or just looking for a way to give back, this is a great chance to make a visible difference in just a few hours.
