The Greater Hartford Green Team is back at it again as we show some love to Hartford's Green Spaces. KNOX will be partnering with a local residents that have been working to steward this green space that honors Marcus Garvey. We are working with the residents to finalize the task list, but we will do general clean up work, mulching, as well as some care for the flowers and bushes that they have planted to make the space more welcoming. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or just looking for a way to give back, this is a great chance to make a visible difference in just a few hours.
What to Know:
- Rain or Shine. Extreme weather will cancel and anyone registered here will be notified.
- Wear comfortable layers and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. We’ll be working outdoors, so please dress accordingly.
- Water and light snacks will be provided.
- Parking is limited so carpooling is encouraged.
- Open to all, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.
