Join KNOX & Tito's in caring for and planting trees in a community orchard; installing deer fencing to help gardeners get their crops before the critters, and clean out and resurface the Earle Street Hoop House These activities will help transform one of Hartford’s vibrant community gardens. Reviving a once prolific orchard, helping gardeners, and making a hoop house available to community farmers this coming fall! Whether you're a seasoned gardener or picking it up for the first time, we’ll provide the tools, guidance, and teamwork to make it happen! Snacks, refreshments, and lunch will be provided.
This is more than a project—it’s a chance to leave a lasting impact on the community. Additional volunteer tasks could also include cleaning up, weeding unused beds, and general grounds clean-up, helping create a cleaner and more sustainable space for the community.
